The Designer

Eunice, founder and principal designer at Haven & Wildfleur Interiors, has always been interested in design in different forms for as long as she can remember. Since young, she’s always loved colour, patterns and making things look pretty.

Her style has been refined through designing and styling several of her homes through the years. The experiences of curating vintage finds as a co-founder of Singapore’s renowned vintage furniture and bakery store Carpenter & Cook, styling weddings at Heaven in a Wild Flower, have culminated in a love for interiors and found objects, leading her to retrain as an Interior Designer and embark on a new career path that allows her to combine her love for colours, homes, telling stories and vintage.

Her design philosophy is rooted in layering textures, colours and carefully curated furniture to create practical, inviting, adaptable spaces that evolve with you. With a belief that good design should be accessible and affordable, she is taking an unconventional approach to offer modular interior design guidance for those looking for something beyond typical design packages. This unique background and knack for pioneering new concepts bring a unique perspective and method to interior design that will be valuable whether you’re a first-time homeowner, a renter, or simply wanting to refresh your space.

Having lived in Singapore, the US, the UK, and now France, Eunice understands the challenges of making a rental feel like home, avoiding cookie-cutter (and often expensive) renovations, and navigating the overwhelming choices that come with designing a space. As a design partner providing guidance each step of the way, she is a sounding board for your ideas, working closely with you to create personalised solutions that balance budget, comfort, and style.

The Approach

Design is about more than just creating beautiful spaces. It’s a holistic approach that balances aesthetics, functionality, and a seamless process to ensure every home feels personal and empowering. This is our approach to every project:

STYLE

Layered, Personal and Inviting

Every home tells a story—cosy, unique, and reflective of the owner’s personality, steering away from cookie-cutter trends. Our design style is rooted in an eclectic, layered aesthetic that prioritises warmth and lived-in charm. Rich textures, curated décor, and a thoughtful mix of timeless and unexpected elements create homes that are stylish yet approachable.

The balance of eclectic elements and cohesive design ensures every space feels personal and welcoming—never cold or overdone. Beyond trends, the focus is always on crafting spaces with lasting appeal and character. And a couple of unique vintage items can never go wrong.

SPACE

Adaptable and Practical

Homes should grow and change with their owners. We favour adaptable layouts and flexible design solutions that allow for evolution over time, avoiding the limitations of rigid built-ins.

Whether for renters or homeowners, the aim is to maximise functionality and make spaces practical without sacrificing style. From modular furniture to versatile styling, every space is designed to meet real-life needs while enhancing comfort and usability.

SYSTEM

Simplified and Transparent

Design can be complex, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. One of our core missions is to create a system to simplify design decisions and make the design journey an enjoyable and accessible one. From mood boards to layouts and clear specifications, we provide you with tools and plans to help you confidently bring your vision to life, whether working with contractors or sourcing items independently.

With transparent pricing, modular services and expert guidance, you know what you get and there are no surprises or hidden costs—just a smooth journey from concept to completion, while maintaining a balance of affordability and style.

Why Choose Us For Your Home?

Choosing the right partner for your home design can be daunting, especially in Singapore, where lower-priced packages often feel one-size-fits-all, and premium designers can be costly. If you’re looking for a fresh approach that’s flexible, personal, and practical, we are here to help.

At Haven & Wildfleur Interiors, we offer an alternative to rigid, all-inclusive design packages with modular services and resources to empower you to shape your home with professional guidance tailored to your needs. You’ll gain the tools—like curated mood boards and detailed design documents—to confidently bring your vision to life without overspending or compromising.

Your home should reflect you—not just in functionality but in style. Whether it’s layering textures, working with colour, or weaving in vintage finds, we create a space that’s warm, cohesive, and full of character. Together, we’ll build a home that’s stylish, thoughtful, and entirely yours.

Your Design Roadmap

Here’s a roadmap outlining the key stages in the design journey, breaking down the process into manageable steps to help you visualise the path from inspiration to completion. While they are generally sequential, it is natural that there may be overlaps.

Use this as a guide to think about how you’d like to approach your project and plan your journey towards a space that truly reflects your personality and needs. Are you looking for someone to take charge of everything, or do you prefer to stay hands-on? Most traditional interior design studios would offer all-in-one services, but having an understanding of the steps involved ensures a smoother process with nothing overlooked.

If you would like more control, or prefer flexible, modular support, our services are thoughtfully designed to complement this roadmap and provide help where you need it.

  • 1. Create a Plan and Budget

Understand the needs, vision, and practical parameters of the project.

Step 1: Set clear goals and priorities

Ask yourself what you want to achieve from this project. Will it be a complete redesign, or more of a makeover? How much time and budget do you have?

    Step 2: Establish a budget

What do you want to spend? Break your budget into categories: renovations, furniture, décor, etc.

    Step 3: Understand your space

How do you envision living in the space? List your non-negotiables (e.g., a work-from-home desk space) and good-to-haves. Note down any limitations such as not making structural changes, or keeping major pieces of furniture.

  • 2. Discover Your Style

Define your style and develop a cohesive guide for the space.

Step 4: Figure out your style

Identify the mood or style you’re drawn to by looking at style guides or on Pinterest and Instagram - is it minimalist, classic, eclectic, rustic etc.

Step 5: Create a mood board and colour palette.

Gather inspiration images (Pinterest, magazines) and note recurring themes. Choose 2-3 main colours and 2-3 accents to guide your choices. This will guide your material and furniture selections later.

  • 3. Design Your Space

Create a plan to establish spatial flow and functionality

Step 6: Develop a layout and furniture plan.

Sketch possible layouts for your space or use free online tools. Decide where key furniture pieces and functions will go.

Step 7: Develop a lighting and electrical plan

Plan out where key lighting and electrical sources will go, based on your needs and design (the feasibility should always be checked with a licensed electrician).

  • 4. Scope and Specify

Define the detailed requirements and prepare for execution.

Step 8: Translate your layout plans into workstreams.

Go through your layout and list out what needs to be done by categories of work such as flooring, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electricals etc. Be as detailed as possible for each space, and note areas where materials, fixtures and furniture will need to be specified.

Step 9: Specify materials, finishes, fixtures and furniture where possible.

Use your moodboard (and budget) as a guide to shortlist options to fit your chosen style. Select paint colours, lighting, flooring, tiles, countertops, doors, windows, hardware, sanitary ware, key furniture pieces. This forms the skeleton of your shopping list, and may be adjusted along the way.

  • 5. Implement Your Design

    Bring the design to life

    Step 10: Choose vendors, contractors.

Research vendors and contractors for what you need. Get 2-3 quotes for comparison per workstream, and conduct interviews or get reviews where possible. There are also main contractors who can project manage and subcontract out the work.

    Step 11: Finalise and shop

This is the fun part! Some of the fixtures and materials may be supplied by your chosen contractors such as carpentry or flooring. For furniture, prioritise big-ticket items like sofas, then layer in smaller pieces. Place orders and track deliveries.

Step 12: Oversee execution and installation by contractors.

Coordinate schedules and quality-check work. Ensure everything arrives on time, especially if an item or material needs to be installed by a contractor.

  • 6. The Finishing Touches

Add warmth, personality, and refinement to the space.

Step 13: Final installation and setup.

Assemble any furniture and arrange according to plan. Install things like curtains and art last so they don’t get dirty.

    Step 14: Style the space.

Add accessories, rugs, textiles, and plants to create the final look. Include meaningful personal or vintage items. You don’t have to buy everything from the outset. Take your time to build up a collection of decor that is truly you.
